Fernleigh Calisthenics Club Inc. (A26217Z) was established in 1987. Fernleigh Calisthenics Club Inc. is a committee run, non-profit organisation and has grown from strength to strength since that time, developing a reputation for being a friendly, family orientated and successful club.
Among numerous achievements, Fernleigh has won several State Titles, Regional Competitions and has been recognised through many prestigious CVI awards.
Our Intermediates compete at Royal South Street, Ballarat around October. Our Juniors and Sub-Juniors may also compete at Ballarat, but is at the discretion of the coach and Committee. - When competing at the Royal South Street Competition an overnight stay may be necessary, the Club will arrange accommodation at reasonable rates.
We are a caring and friendly Club that encourages every student to achieve their best. The development and confidence of each and every member of the Club is encouraged through positive reinforcement and rewards.
Fernleigh often participates in the Pupil Skills Program that is administered by the VCCA. This program provides an opportunity for pupils to gain personal achievement and improve their own standard. Exams are held for Test 1, 2 and 3, Grades 1-4 and Medals. Participation in this is offered through the Club. This program is optional and is an extra cost.
At Fernleigh there is No Extra Charges for Costume Hire and only a small amount of sewing skill is required. Usually a small amount of sequencing, beading and perhaps some stitching.
